Deer Park Retreat, Introduction

09 Feb
The very first picture I took on my first day at Deer Park.

The first picture I took at Deer Park

I have just returned home from my one month stay at Deer Park Monastery in southern California in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing, which is a Zen based practice.  I wrote everyday while I was gone and took many pictures. I will be posting one day’s worth of writing starting today, I hope that you enjoy!
